Events › What's New Book Club

Get together to look at, read and review some of the best books for children. Each meeting starts with members talking about books they have recently read.  Then members work on writing reviews for a book, making sock puppets to match their finished book reviews, or practicing their puppeteering skills to music. Once your book review and puppet are complete, have your adult contact Miss Melissa to set up a time to come in and record your review for the library's social media pages. This is a chance to let other library users, authors and publishers know which books kids really love. This program is appropriate for ages 8-14.
