We've Always Been Here: A Summit on Trans Lives Past, Present, & Future

Join us for a day-long summit celebrating the past, present, and future of our transgender community members and those who love them. The summit will feature an intergenerational panel of trans elders and youth and a unique opportunity to create community with our trans and allied neighbors. Attendees will be treated to our Keynote Workshop led by Dr. Samantha Rosenthal. A nationally recognized trans historian and queer public history community organizer, Dr. Rosenthal is author of the book Living Queer History.

Summit Schedule

10AM: Opening Remarks

10:30AM to 12 NOON: Keynote Address by Dr. Samantha Rosenthal

Break for Lunch (Coffee Hub or nearby grub)

1:30PM to 3PM: Speaker Shareouts by Dayton LGBTQIA+ Leaders

3:30PM to 5PM: Intergenerational Trans Panel Local Trans Youth, Trans Elders, & Trans In-betweeners

5PM Closing Remarks

 All are welcome to join us as we learn about the past, reflect on the present, and envision a future in which people of all genders are free to belong.
