Digital Derby: Making a Racer

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
New Lebanon Branch

Description

Are you ready to rev up your creativity? Join us at the library for a unique workshop where you'll learn to design your very own digital racecar using Tinkercad, a free and easy-to-use 3D design program.

Tinkercad is a fantastic tool for anyone who wants to explore the world of 3D modeling, whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience. It's a simple, browser-based program that uses basic shapes to help you build complex objects. Think of it like digital building blocks—we'll show you how to combine and manipulate these shapes to create a cool, custom racecar design.

Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before. We will guide you step-by-step through the process. By the end of the session, you'll have a digital racecar ready to show off

We're encouraging parent/ child team-ups to learn a new skill, have fun with technology, and see how simple it is to bring your ideas to life in 3D. All you need to bring is your imagination!

This event is free and open to all ages, but registration is required as space is limited.
