The world is full of different cultures, artwork, and ways of life--and with the library, you can explore them without ever having to travel!
Intersecting Interests is a laid-back media club for like-minded individuals who want to explore diverse titles. We'll look at current
events and featured diverse YA titles, as well as share media recommendations from
art, poetry, film, and more, while discussing what we share through an
intersectional lens.
Topics include race, national origin,
LGBTQ+ identity, socioeconomic class, physical and mental
ability, education, health care, different religions, philosophies, and
more in a supportive setting. Ages 13-18.
