World Autism Awareness Day is observed every year on April 2nd. Established by the United Nations in 2007, its purpose is to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The day also marks the beginning of Autism Awareness Month during which many organizations focus on education and support efforts.
