Join us for a powerful two part series that breaks down what dementia truly is-and isn't-while helping participants recognize early signs and understand the changes beyond normal aging.  Through an immersive Virtual Dementia Experience, you’ll gain firsthand insight into the emotions and challenges faced by those living with cognitive decline. Participants will learn how to interpret behaviors as communication, respond with empathy, and strengthen person-centered care skills. Walk away with greater confidence, compassion, and clarity in supporting individuals living with dementia.  Part 1 March 26th 6:30 - 7:30 pm; Part 2 April 9th 6:30 - 7:30 pm.  

Lori Horstman is a dedicated advocate for dementia awareness combining her expertise in Neuroscience research with her passion for education and caregiving. She has over 27 years of experience as a trainer and speaker, 15 years in dementia care, and personal experience as a dementia caregiver. She developed the Brain Boot Camp training program, designed to help individuals maintain and improve cognitive function.
