In coordination with the Miamisburg Historical Society, the Dayton Metro Library is offering a walking tour of  Main Street in historic Miamisburg.
Miamisburg has a vast and rich history. The town of Miamisburg was a mere village in 1822 and achieved city status by the 1920s. The Main St tour starts at the Market Square building and continues all the way to Linden Avenue. We will talk about the business leaders who built the buildings and the businesses. We'll learn about every building with a name and most of the ones without.
This tour will start at the Market Square Building, 4 N Main St in Miamisburg. This is a great way to get your steps in and to learn about Miamisburg's storied past at the same time! The event may be canceled due to inclement weather, please contact the Miamisburg Branch.
