Description

Come join us as we celebrate national Asian-American Heritage Month with traditional dances from the Philippines, including the incredible Tinikling dance. The Tinikling dance is a Filipino folk dance that imitates the movements of the tikling bird as it walks through grass or dodges bamboo traps. Its meaning is often symbolic of Filipino resilience, adaptability, and the bayanihan spirit of communal unity, representing how Filipinos skillfully maneuver and find harmony despite challenges.
