Description

Join us for our 2026 American Threads quarterly community book club series, part of a nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and Ohio’s lasting impact on the nation’s story. This July, we celebrate the enduring art of the American essay - a form that has captured the nation’s spirit from colonial times to today.

Our third title is The Glorious American Essay, a rich collection showcasing the voices that have shaped American thought, culture, and identity. This anthology offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse perspectives and timeless reflections that have helped define our country.

This book club welcomes readers of all backgrounds and viewpoints. As part of the America 250 initiative, the event encourages respectful, thoughtful discussion rooted in history and what unites us as Americans.
