We'll take a look at Xolo: How One Good Dog Saved Mankind--a recent work of illustrated fiction and at Aztec art from long ago. Xolo is a nickname for Xolotl--an Aztec mythological deity with the body of a human and the head of a dog. Xolotl was the god of lightning, death, and misfortune. Then we'll create our own illustrations of these dynamic beings.
