"For more than 35 years, found items made of steel have provided the basic material for the sculptures of all sizes created by Hex. Welding equipment, disc grinder, hammer and polishing machine are the tools with which the artist provides impressive evidence of the breadth of his creative talents. Thanks to a bursary in Pietrasanta/Italy he was later able to add bronze and marble. Since then these materials have expanded the possibilities of his artistic creativity.
