After losing her job as a computer programmer, Lucia has a steamy encounter with a new neighbor who then goes missing. In hopes of encountering him again, she takes a job as a taxi driver and ends up using the new job as a vehicle of radical connection and self-reinvention. Before long, however, it becomes clear that none of her recent experiences are random, and she is in fact the target of a plot with violent consequences.
